What's new

New features, fixes and gameplay changes, newest first.

Today’s best run, this week’s podium

  • See the provisional top three, their results and weekly prizes directly on the Weekly Run page.
  • Today’s Leaders now includes today’s best verified Weekly Run alongside the other daily winners. Select it to open today’s run standings.
  • Today’s best run counts even when you set a faster weekly best on a previous day. Daily standings reset at midnight UTC; prizes still follow the final weekly standings.

Weekly Run, lava survival and new weekly rewards

Your best run

  • Race through dressed courses with a fixed weapon kit. Hit every target and pass every checkpoint. Weekly challenges alternate between time trials and precision runs, where accurate hits also earn points.
  • Get a guided training round on your first visit, with new radio guidance. Practice different courses and kits whenever you like, using the same movement and weapon handling as ordinary matches.
  • Complete your first valid ranked run of the week for a Supply crate. First place earns two Elite crates, second one Elite crate, and third two Supply crates. Fourth earns 1,000 credits, fifth 750, and sixth through tenth 500 each after the week closes.
  • Compare weekly scores, friends and course records, and look back at past weeks. Practice runs do not count toward rankings or prizes.

The floor is lava

  • Play The Floor Is Lava with 2–12 players in Crucible. Watch the warnings, move between safe platforms and survive the rising waves. The last survivor wins the round; ordinary weapon damage is disabled.
  • Try Molten Relay in Weekly Run practice. It also appears in the weekly rotation. Falling ends an official attempt; practice lets you continue from your last cleared checkpoint.

More to come back for

  • Home gives Weekly Run and daily challenges a shared, compact space. A calm carousel shows your next account unlock, nearby weapon unlocks and upcoming season cosmetics.
  • Daily challenge descriptions reflect the mode you play, with goals you can complete without a party. Season rewards give the next cosmetic a clearer preview.
  • Clans can compete for the most public-match kills each week. The activity trophy and past wins remain visible in the clan history.
  • Football commentary takes a break between rapid goals instead of repeating the same line every time.

New routes, tactical landmarks and easier rematches

  • Explore Canopy's opened buildings, Breakwater's two-stair control tower, Undertow's roof links and connecting side-room doors, and Highline's walk-through gondola.
  • More return routes and targeted cover improvements across several maps. Adjusted Search & Destroy sites on Sunward and Blue Clover, improved Holloway stairs and closed several unintended map exits.
  • Gun House has a new salvage-car landmark and dark hoist details. Selected map previews have been refreshed.
  • After a match, small compatible casual Quick Play groups can move together into a fuller waiting lobby. Existing skill limits still apply; parties stay together.
  • Refined the sniper's support thumb. Terms and Privacy links now open separately so you can keep your game open.

More ways to build your gun, richer maps and smoother starts

Weapons and attachments

  • Equip up to four attachments per weapon. Selected guns have new barrel and stock options, each with its own handling trade-offs. Your original gun stays the default.
  • Barrels and stocks appear in Loadouts, in your hands, on dropped weapons and in replays. Picking up a gun keeps its attachments and their effects.
  • Refined hand grips, including the M4 support thumb, and clearer attachment previews.

Maps and movement

  • More varied buildings, roofs and scenery across several maps, with refreshed previews and improvements to Old Town's rooms and doors.
  • Improved low-obstacle climbing and clearer map boundaries.
  • Fixed the camera bouncing during the offline opening countdown after a crouched previous life.

Friends and hiding modes

  • Queue with friends for casual Free-for-all, Gun Game, One in the Chamber and Quickscope, within each mode's party limit.
  • Clearer party invitations, including member invites into a leader's open party.
  • Prop Hunt replays retain the recorded disguise. Caught Hide 'n Seek players following a hider can hear nearby seekers.

Loading and menus

  • Less repeated hand-animation work while keeping the same finger positions.
  • A smaller Uzi model download through shared textures, with its appearance and animations retained.
  • Improved translated Home cards and chat scrolling for long replies.

More languages, lighter downloads and smoother matches

Play in your language

  • The online game now has German, French and Dutch menus, match text and radio subtitles. Choose your language in Settings; new visitors get a supported browser language automatically. Recorded voices stay in English.
  • German, French and Dutch game homepages and guides keep you in your chosen language, with new tips for modes, controls and playing on laptops.

Loading and match performance

  • Smaller weapon and character texture downloads, plus fewer unused Uzi animation files, make the first download lighter. Downloads can run ahead while the game prepares models.
  • Model loading now shows how much has downloaded and when the game is unpacking it, instead of leaving the progress bar at 0%.
  • UAV, sentry, cruise missile and hellhound visuals are prepared before combat to reduce first-use hitches. Infected matches also prepare their opening sight checks before play starts.

Rewards and goals

  • The results screen is calmer: your best moment of the match, plus progress bars for your gun's next level and your next Supply crate. On portrait phones your result and rewards come first. Last match results also shows completed challenges.
  • The progress bar names the badges and crates waiting at upcoming levels, including after level 50. The Home next-goal card keeps showing level rewards after your gear is unlocked.
  • Supply crate skins now land more often on the guns you actually play with. Rarity odds are unchanged.
  • The Home challenges card gives waiting rewards more room and switches away from a fully claimed set when the other set has rewards to collect.

Parties, menus and Hide 'n Seek

  • Party members can enter supported matches with their current class without an extra Ready or Confirm & play step. Ranked, Duo and scary-mode requirements stay the same, and a custom host still starts preparation.
  • Custom-match hosts can end the lobby for everyone, with confirmation, including during the preparation countdown. Leaving alone or with your party stays a separate choice.
  • The Invite button is clearer, and chat hints no longer cover the bottom-left mode card.
  • A cleaner weapon page in Loadouts, tabs that fit phones, and an unlock button that stays within the page on tablets. Home name tags sit just above your operator, including when menus are zoomed.
  • Scary Hide 'n Seek: jump scares now target the seekers. Hiders keep the creepy atmosphere.

Now live.

One Legendary per season

  • Each season now has exactly one Legendary reward: the season's skin at level 30. Season 1's level 20 is a normal reward again; Kestrel will come in a future season.

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

Seasonal skins, Mythic operators and weapon XP from every match

Season rewards

  • Six new Legendary skins you can only earn from the season path: Kintsugi, Imperial Enamel, High Ground, Rose Window, Heirloom and Jade Deco. Each season's level 30 gives that season's skin on every weapon, starting with Kintsugi.
  • Season 1's level 20 reward is the Kestrel operator. See every seasonal skin, and when it comes round, in your Armoury.

Operators

  • Strix, Briar and Umbra join Fuse as Mythic operators: only from Elite crates, 1 in 50,000 per Elite crate each, never boosted. Strix's night-vision goggles now pulse softly and a light sweeps across Umbra's red lens.
  • Briar now wears a full ghillie suit, from the hood down to the boots, with dry grass on the hood that sways as you move.
  • Bastion is rarer: 1 in 10,000 crates. The Operators list now runs from common to rarest, with the Mythics at the bottom. Everything you already own stays yours.

Skins

  • Every skin's pattern is now the same size on every gun, so the M4 shows the same detail as the MPX or Desert Eagle instead of a few big strokes. Skins cover the M4's upper receiver in their own colours, and camos show along the whole gun, not just the stock.
  • Several skins got a visual upgrade: plain colours like Navy Watch and Bottle Green really show their colour, Epic skins such as Whiteout and Goldleaf glow properly, and Abyss Bloom, Carbon Weave and Molten Core look clearly different from their neighbours.
  • Glitch Protocol is now the rarest Mythic skin (1 in 100,000 Elite crates), and Supernova is 1 in 50,000 like most others. Hyperdrive stays 1 in 75,000; the chance of any Mythic is unchanged (about 1 in 6,100 Elite crates).

Progression

  • Guns now earn weapon XP from your whole match: every kill still gives its gun 100 weapon XP, and your assists, objectives and end-of-match bonus are shared across the guns you held, by how long you held each one. The results screen shows what each gun earned.
  • Levels 51–100 take longer. Your XP is kept; above level 50 your level is recalculated on the new curve. Levels 1–50 are unchanged, and everything you have unlocked stays unlocked. Level 100 is a real milestone: a gold Max level badge and a bonus Elite crate.
  • 42 new achievements: One in the Chamber goals, a skin collection ladder from 5 to 750 skins (with an Elite crate at the top; skins you own count straight away), and goals for Ranked and Duel wins, operators, account levels 10 to 100 and friends.

Nuke

  • Once a nuke is called in it always lands: the match can no longer end on time, kills or objective score first. The clock waits at 0:00, and if the caller dies or leaves, the nuke still lands and still wins it for them.
  • A nuke call-in now sounds a real air-raid siren, winding up in the distance and coasting down under the countdown.

Duo Control

  • When roles swap, the soldier carries the new gunner's own class and weapon skins from the first moment of the round.
  • When your partner aims, your soldier walks at the normal aiming speed, the same as when you aim yourself.
  • Tactical sprint now shows for both of you: the gun goes up and tips back, just like solo.
  • The Duo results card no longer covers your stats or the final leaderboard; it sits right above your match stats.

Hide 'n Seek

  • As a seeker you no longer hear the hiders' radio briefing at the start of Hide 'n Seek, Scary Hide 'n Seek or Hardcore Prop Hunt. Each side only hears its own instructions.

Less background work during matches

  • Performance graphics skips unnecessary animation work for players outside the camera view, while keeping them ready when they become visible.
  • Optional diagnostic uploads give way earlier when your gameplay connection is busy.
  • A small reduction in the game’s initial download, with the same menus and controls.

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

Six new operators, One in the Chamber and smoother Duo

New party mode: One in the Chamber

  • Everyone gets the same pistol and a knife, and you start every life with one bullet. A bullet that hits kills, and every kill gives you a bullet back. Missed? Earn it back with the knife.
  • First to 15 kills wins, or the most kills after 5 minutes. Automatic respawns; no classes, perks or killstreaks. Find it under Party, in custom matches and in the offline game with bots.

Six new operators

  • Four new Legendary operators: Bastion (a breacher in heavy plate), Strix (night operations, with glowing night-vision goggles), Kestrel (a recon marksman) and Umbra (a black-ops cowl with one cold-blue lens). Bastion can drop from any crate, 1 in 3,000. Strix, Kestrel and Umbra are season rewards in a future season and never drop from a crate.
  • Two new Mythic operators, only from Elite crates: Fuse (a bomb-disposal suit) and Briar (a ghillie suit whose strips sway as you move), each 1 in 50,000 per Elite crate, never boosted. An operator you already own pays credits instead.
  • Each new operator speaks two lines of their own when you equip them. Operators are cosmetic: the same health, movement and hit boxes.

Crates

  • Legendary operators and Epic skins are rarer: Wildcard 1 in 1,000 crates, Deadpan 1 in 2,000, Bastion 1 in 3,000, and Epic skins in 2.263% of crates (was 3.136%). Uncommon gets the difference. Everything you already own stays yours, and every number is shown in the Armoury and in Operators.
  • Every crate reward now says which crate it is: a Supply crate or an Elite crate.
  • Elite crates are now a rare reward too: one level near the end of every season path, the top of seven long achievements and, now and then, the weekly completion bonus. No reward got smaller.

Duo

  • If your partner is still loading, the screen says so ("Waiting for your gunner…") instead of a frozen 3. In Quick Play the ready player plays the soldier alone (both roles) until their partner is in; with friends in a custom match you wait together. A partner who is still loading can no longer get you kicked.
  • Both of you now see the same soldier: the gunner sees the legs step, the view bob and hears the footsteps; the driver sees the gunner's grenades, stims and throwing knives and hears their reloads and swaps.
  • Killstreaks always belong to the gunner and move with the role when you swap. Everyone, the driver included, now sees the gunner's real skin or camo on the gun.
  • If your ping, or your partner's, stays high, a short note in the Duo card says the match may feel delayed. The kill streak count no longer covers the Duo card.

Lobbies and players list

  • Your lobby can now be Open to everyone, Open to friends or Closed (the default), from the new Lobby button on Home. Anyone online can join an open lobby from the players list, guests included.
  • Every player in the players list has Join, Invite and Add friend buttons beside their name, and the list shows the game type, for example "Duo · TDM". On a profile, Add friend is a small icon beside the player's name.

Loading and smoothness

  • Slow loading no longer kicks you out: if the map is still loading when the match starts, the others begin and you join the moment you're ready, with spawn protection (in round modes, from the next round).
  • Maps start downloading while you're on Home, so matches load faster.
  • No more short freeze when a player in an operator outfit first appears mid-match: every outfit is prepared while the match loads.
  • Firefox: the menu no longer freezes while graphics are prepared; that work now happens on the first match's loading screen.

Home and menus

  • On a phone, swipe through Daily Challenges and Today's Leaders; the arrows work again and are bigger to tap.
  • The Home tour is shorter and explains Duo, with new narration.
  • Small fixes: the Infected tile's Day / Night / Both control no longer covers its text on touch screens, and opening one crate's odds no longer stretches the other crate card.

Friends, status and open lobbies

  • Add friends when you are signed in: by username, from All online, from a player's profile or from your party. They accept or decline, and either of you can remove the other.
  • The players list now has two tabs: Friends (who is online, in a lobby, in a match or busy, plus your friend requests) and All online.
  • Pick your status: anyone can invite you, only friends can invite you (the default for accounts), Busy (no invites) or Appear offline.
  • Open your lobby to friends on Home: they can join you straight from their Friends list and become your party. Closed is the default.
  • A small notice tells you when a friend request arrives, is accepted, or a friend comes online. You can turn it off in the Friends tab.

Skins look the same on every gun

  • Every gun now shows a skin on the same parts: the body, handguard and stock (slide and frame on pistols). Sights, barrel, bolt, grip and the magazine keep their factory finish. Earned camos still cover the magazine too.
  • Mythic skin animations are now the same size on every gun, so they no longer look stretched on some guns and tiny on others.

Crates and Mythic skins

  • Opening a crate now fills the whole screen on big monitors too, with a clear Skip animation button under the crate.
  • Crates sometimes give a 2× XP token instead of a skin (about 1 in 22), saved in Rewards → XP tokens. Rare and better odds are unchanged.
  • Every Mythic skin you can see in the menus now moves, and their animations are easier to see.
  • Skins now cover the RD-9's body and stock, and the M870's pump.

Party fixes

  • When the party leader leaves a custom match the party joined together, everyone in the party comes back to the party lobby with them, Duo included.
  • A party that is down to one player is gone: after a kick or a leave you play on your own straight away, with no "Leave party" step.
  • Custom Duo matches only list the modes Duo can play; modes your pairs do not fit are greyed out with the reason.

Your Duo is one soldier on Home

  • On Home → Duo each pair in your party now stands as ONE soldier: the player who aims has their name above its head, the player who drives has theirs under its feet. The soldier wears the aiming player's operator and gun, and Swap aim switches the names round.

A mode picker that fits your screen

  • Choosing modes for Quick Play now always fits the window, also on big screens: the title and the Done button stay in view and only the modes scroll.
  • Shooter, Party and Duo modes all show as picture cards, with Select all, Clear all and Reset buttons above them.

Duo: two players, one soldier

  • A new Duo game on Home: one of you moves, the other aims and shoots. Come alone and we pair you with another player, or bring your whole party. Play it in Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Domination, Hardpoint, Gun Game, Infected, Search & Destroy, Cyber Attack, 2v2 Gunfight, Duel and Quickscope.
  • The driver plants, defuses, captures and revives; the gunner shoots and throws. In round modes you swap roles at the start of each round.
  • In a party, the leader picks who pairs up with whom and who aims first, and can split the pairs into Team A and Team B to play against each other. An odd player out plays both roles until we pair them.
  • Custom Duo matches have a pairs screen, and a pair shows as "Rob & Nowi" on the scoreboard. Both of you get full rewards.
  • After each Duo match a card shows who aimed most and each player's kills. Duo has its own highscores for players and pairs and 16 Duo achievements; your own K/D never changes.
  • The radio talks Duo too: its own intro per mode, a call when you get a partner or a new one, when your partner drops out or comes back, and after every swap it tells you whether you drive or aim now.

Cleaner menus and HUD

  • Menus, dialogs and match screens are calmer and easier to read: fewer explanations, one clear main button per screen, and layouts checked on desktop, tablet and phone.
  • Match results put Next match first, and the scoreboard no longer shows the crosshair on top of it.
  • Rewards use clear icons for credits, XP tokens and crates.

Elite crates

  • A new gold Elite crate: three rewards, at least one Rare or better, and the only place to find Mythic skins. You get one free every 5 levels (levels you already passed count too), or buy one for 5,000 credits.
  • Rewards → Crates is reorganised: your credits at the top, then one card per crate with "Open · N left", and Buy 1 or Buy 10. Bought crates wait in your inventory until you open them.

Camos on profiles

  • Player profiles now show earned camos on the real gun: a Best camos row with each weapon's highest camo, and "See all camos" with weapon and camo filters.

See other players' achievements

  • Player profiles have a new Achievements tab: open anyone from Highscores to see which achievements they have earned, and how far they got on each ladder.

Your skin in the Home lobby

  • On Home, your soldier now holds your main weapon with the skin or camo you equipped on it, and friends in your party hold theirs too. It changes as soon as someone picks another class or finish.

58 new achievements

  • The nuke now has its own ladder: call in 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 nukes. These are the rarest achievements in the game and worth the most stars, up to 30 for a single one. World Tour asks for a nuke in TDM, Domination and Hardpoint.
  • New achievements for killstreaks, Infected Day and Night, Gun Game, Prop Hunt and Hide 'n Seek, and the season path. Find them under Career → Achievements.

Mythic skins that move

  • A new skin tier above Legendary: nine animated Mythic skins, found only in Elite crates (very rare: about 1 in 6,000 Elite crates for any of them).
  • Two of them are rarer still: Hyperdrive (1 in 75,000 Elite crates) and Supernova (1 in 100,000).
  • Get Diamond on every weapon to unlock Dark Matter, a moving cosmic camo, on all of them at once.

Claim your season rewards

  • Season rewards no longer arrive by themselves: when you reach a level, claim its reward in Rewards → Season and watch it pop. Rewards you have not claimed when a season ends are still added to your account.

Throwing knives you can see coming

  • When someone throws a knife, you now see their arm make the throw and the knife leave their hand, instead of a blade appearing out of their body.

Fewer failed loads

  • Slower computers and players who switch tabs while a match loads are no longer sent back with "Loading did not finish" when they play with bots: the match waits for you.
  • Fixed the next match sometimes getting stuck on "Preparing players" and ending in "Loading did not finish".
  • Settings: separate aiming sensitivity for low zoom (iron sights, red dot) and high zoom (scopes).
  • On big monitors your gun is now drawn a little smaller. Turn it off under Settings → Video → "Smaller gun on big screens".
  • New "Aim zoom" option (Settings → Video): choose Affected to make aiming zoom follow your field of view, like Modern Warfare.
  • Fixed: players with a very large skin collection could not open their own profile.

Seasons, party modes and the nuke

  • Season path: every 30 days, 30 free levels that fill as you earn XP, with crates, credits and skins on the way and the season's Legendary skin at level 30 (25 crates if you already own it). Rewards arrive automatically; see them under Rewards → Season.
  • A new Home: pick Shooters, Party, Hide & Seek or Zombies. Party has its own Quick Play and a game featured each week.
  • Infected: survivors against a growing horde of knife-wielding infected. Play it by day, or at night on every map.
  • Gun Game: every kill gives you the next gun, 19 steps from pistols up to the L115 and finally the knife; the first knife kill on the last step wins. Getting knifed sets you back.
  • The tactical nuke: hidden until you get 30 kills in a row. Everyone hears it coming, then the match ends in your favour.
  • New radio calls for the nuke, Infected and Gun Game, each with several variations.
  • Common skins are now earned per weapon. Commons you already had stay on your M4. Skins always show on the real gun in the Armoury, rewards and profiles, and profiles show their best skins with "See all".
  • Highscores now open on Career · Top 100.

Faster loading, smoother fights

  • Matches prepare noticeably faster on most computers.
  • One tap of jump now climbs a ledge; holding still works.
  • Weapon swaps follow Modern Warfare 2019 timing: knife to pistol takes a moment longer, and Amped makes primary swaps much faster.
  • Scout and sniper scopes on normal guns sway again; hold breath to steady them.
  • Killcams now show the killer's crosshair, and the final killcam no longer goes missing in big Free-for-all matches.
  • NEW tags show what you just unlocked, with counts on the menu tabs and a "Mark all as seen" button.
  • Hide 'n Seek: the voice explains the rules once per role, then keeps it short. In Scary Hide 'n Seek the clown haunts seekers and the spider scares hiders.
  • Cruise missile: a camera-feed look, and spectators now follow the missile too.
  • Fixes: the suppressed AK no longer rings, the AK iron sights are easier to read, and a spot inside the dome on Blue Clover's market hall is now solid.
  • New players start with a slightly lower look sensitivity.

More reliable match loading

  • Fixed a keyboard-input error that could occur with certain input events.
  • Graphics preparation now stops safely when cancelled or when the browser loses its graphics context.
  • Loading gives the browser more opportunities to respond between graphics compilation passes.
  • Temporary loading objects are cleaned up more reliably when preparation fails.
  • Improved loading-failure diagnostics to help investigate remaining freezes and disconnects.

Smoother entry and new scares

Live · 27 October 2026

  • A moonlit lodge backdrop now appears on Home when only Scary Hide ’n Seek modes are selected, including your party leader’s selection.
  • Cleaner Hide ’n Seek and Prop Hunt HUD: one compact status panel, with opening instructions fading after eight seconds. Timers, player counts and important action feedback remain visible. Soft taunt and Jump scare buttons keep your current keyboard bindings visible, including during cooldowns.
  • Smaller mobile combat tips keep the aiming area clear and temporarily use the score area.
  • A centered scary-mode warning remembers your acceptance for 30 minutes in the current tab, so selecting Featured and finding a match do not repeat it.
  • Jump-scare visible hunters from up to 50 metres away; walls and the existing cooldown still apply.
  • More detailed ghost, childlike spectre and clown sightings, each with a matching eerie sound.
  • Scary encounters now vary their timing and order each round. Quiet stretches and false alarms build tension between rarer rushes.
  • Sometimes a whisper behind you leads to a sudden spectral rush when you turn around. The figure disappears before reaching you; Reduced scares disables the encounter.
  • Fixed walking through the large trees in Blackwood Lodge.
  • Scary Hide ’n Seek has a dedicated whisper announcer for the hunt, catches and results.
  • Scary Hide ’n Seek hiders keep their masks in the final-catch killcam.
  • Scary Hide ’n Seek offers a quick vote between two random maps once two players are ready. No vote is needed to start; ties are decided randomly.
  • Fixed public Browse and invite-link joins getting stuck waiting instead of automatically readying for a match.

Something moved in the dark

Live · 26 October 2026

  • More recorded scare sounds, haunted TVs, fleeting spiders and varied jump-scare appearances across the scary map pool.
  • Darker scenery and a shorter hunter flashlight. Quiet intervals and shared cooldowns keep heavy scares spaced apart.
  • A featured Scary Hide ’n Seek card selects both variants, with the warning shown before you continue.
  • Clearer hiding radio calls, vertical game choices, and matching dark Rewards and Clan tabs.
  • Simpler online Zombies highscores show the wave reached. High-ping Play Solo still saves eligible progress; custom matches and offline practice do not.
  • Rebalanced Zombies support weapons: fewer automated defenses per player and a shorter helicopter deployment.

Lights out

Now live. A follow-up for Scary Hide ’n Seek.

  • Fixed missing recorded taunts and jump-scare sounds.
  • Darker rooms and switched-off monitors, with a shorter hunter flashlight.
  • More audible atmosphere, unsettling sounds from the surroundings, and brief ghost and clown appearances with sound.
  • Occasional hunter breathing after frights and while exploring. Quiet gaps and scare cooldowns keep the tension from becoming constant noise.

More places to hide. More reasons to look behind you.

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • More maps in public Hide ’n Seek, with freer map choices and a starting hunter setting in custom matches.
  • Scary Hide ’n Seek gets more taunts, new radio calls, directional whispers and occasional haunted screens. Heavy jump scares have a shared cooldown for each hunter.
  • A warning before scary matches lets you continue, leave, or save “Don’t show again”.
  • Hiders can talk with other hiders. In scary matches they can also hear the hunters; hunters cannot hear living hiders.
  • Cleaner teammate and loadout menus, consistent tabs, and Hide ’n Seek statistics on player profiles.
  • More reliable double-Shift tactical sprint and fixes for getting stuck while joining a match.
  • High ping? Play solo against bots with saved progress, Today stats and personal records. Parties stay online, and the region menu explains server availability.
  • Caught Prop Hunt players can follow surviving hiders until the next round.

New places to hide

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Hideaway Gardens brings cottages and hedges to Prop Hunt and Hide ’n Seek.
  • Scary Hide ’n Seek takes you to Blackwood Lodge at night, with a seeker flashlight, creepy sounds and a choice of taunts.
  • Caught Hide ’n Seek players spectate. The last catch gets a replay, and seekers cannot peek through the pause menu while counting.
  • A curated map selection keeps searches manageable. Railworks remains available for larger custom groups.

Sentries, killcams and bot fixes

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Preview your sentry's position before placing it. Players and bots can no longer walk through it, and hellhounds keep apart while hunting.
  • Saved killstreaks wait ten seconds after combat starts each round. UAVs stay available immediately.
  • Killcams play the right normal or headshot kill sound, and online reloads keep going while the Escape menu is open.
  • S&D bomb guards move to safety and stay there. Bots wear varied outfits, with rarer outfits more common at higher difficulties.
  • Dropped weapons lie still without circles or floating names. The nearby pickup prompt remains.

Fairer bots, faster reloads, fixes

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Quick Play bots are fairer: they react and aim a bit slower, you only meet harder bots after several strong matches, and very different players get separate lobbies.
  • Reloads: your gun is ready when the last reload click sounds (never more than half a second sooner than before).
  • The cruise missile launches reliably again, hellhounds start hunting right away, and bots no longer walk into walls.
  • Phone: the Loadouts "View unlocks" link no longer covers the tabs.

Cruise missile hits harder

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • The cruise missile now kills every enemy in the open within about 15 metres of the impact, like Modern Warfare (2019).
  • Walls and roofs still protect you, and teammates are still safe.
  • While you fly it, every player is marked from the missile camera: teammates blue, enemies red. Name tags no longer float over the view.

Uzi, claymores and new equipment perks

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • New weapon: the Uzi, with its own unlocks, attachments and magazine options.
  • Claymores you can pick back up, and a smoother throwing knife.
  • New equipment perks, a directional High Alert and a compact recharge display.
  • UAVs can be shot down, and destroying aircraft now earns rewards and assists.
  • Radio callouts for every killstreak and for Hide ’n Seek; the cruise missile now has exhaust and incoming audio.
  • Many menu and pop-up fixes, more reliable joining, and a refresh prompt when your game is out of date.

Quick Play that follows your form

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Quick Play bots now follow how your recent matches went, not just your overall K/D: after a rough match the next lobby is a little gentler, and as you win it gets tougher again.
  • Playing alone against bots in a team mode, your first matches put the stronger bots on your side.
  • New players, or anyone on a rough run, are no longer dropped into a match with far stronger players or very tough bots. Everyone else keeps playing together.
  • The results screen now celebrates a new personal best, or a big step up on your last match.
  • The countdown to your next match now ticks in its last seconds and pulses, so a short wait never looks frozen.
  • Fewer short freezes in the first minute of a match on some Windows PCs: other players' killcam models are now prepared while you're not fighting.
  • Ranked, custom rooms and matches with other players' fairness are unchanged.

Classic Hide ’n Seek in Quick Play

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Classic Hide ’n Seek is now in Quick Play: pick it in the Prop Hunt playlist.
  • Choose one or more of Classic Prop Hunt, Hardcore Prop Hunt and Classic Hide ’n Seek. Find Match joins a lobby that already has players first.

Your team is always blue

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Team colours now work like other shooters: your team is always blue, enemies always red.
  • That holds everywhere: soldiers, killfeed, scoreboard, score panels, objective flags and zones, results and killcams. Spectre and Reaper keep their names.

M4 Carbine kills a little faster

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • The M4 now fires faster and kills a little faster up close: four body hits take about 0.22 seconds instead of 0.25.
  • At range it still needs five body hits past 30 m and six past 50 m, each a little faster than before.
  • Fix: game sound comes back by itself if your browser pauses it mid-match.

Cheaters removed during the match

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Shots fired in a different direction than the player is looking, and other aim no person can produce, now remove the cheater from the match within seconds, not after it ends.
  • Lots of headshots alone never gets anyone removed: good players are safe.
  • Repeat cheaters are suspended for longer each time, whether they play signed in or not.

iPhone: picking a game works again

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • On iPhone, tapping Prop Hunt, Football or Zombies under "Change game" now switches the game.
  • Tapping beside the open game list just closes it, and no longer opens something else by accident.

Zombies: new names, same game

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Perks have their own names now: Ironhide (extra health), Quickhands (faster reload), Rapid Fire, Fleetfoot (faster sprint), Steady Aim and Second Wind (faster revives). What they do and cost is unchanged.
  • The upgrade station is now called Weapon Upgrade, and upgraded guns are named Prime (for example Prime AK-47). The air-blast wonder weapon is now the Tempest (upgraded: Tempest Prime), and the ray-firing wonder weapon is now the Plasma Gun (upgraded: Plasma Gun Prime). Hound rounds keep their dogs under a plainer name.
  • Power-ups: One-Hit Kills, Full Ammo and Rebuild replace their old names.

New: the xFPS blog

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • A new blog with guides: how Prop Hunt works and how to win it, round-based Zombies with friends, Search and Destroy, 1v1 Duels and 2v2 Gunfight, lists of the best free browser shooters, and how to play shooters on a Mac or Chromebook.
  • The Play button on each guide opens xFPS with that game already selected.

Hide as yourself. Taunt if you dare.

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Classic Hide ’n Seek joins the Prop Hunt family in Custom match. You have 40 seconds to hide as yourself, then your position and crouching stance freeze. You can still look around. One pistol hit catches you, and caught hiders join the seekers.
  • No automatic taunts in Classic Hide ’n Seek. Stay silent or choose to give a clue yourself.
  • 25 taunt choices, including short squeaks, honks and comic sound combinations, plus a rare longer surprise.
  • Map choices follow the number of people playing. Hide ’n Seek uses full maps, with several larger maps still available to two friends. Small Prop Hunt groups get more compact choices and shorter hunts.
  • Touch controls show the actions your role can use. Custom match results no longer say they are waiting for XP or rewards.

Quieter bots, faster cheat removal

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Every kill in Quick Play now counts the same: full XP, full weapon XP, your K/D, the daily highscores and crate progress. Your K/D keeps going: the kills you already had stay, and new kills are added on top.
  • Quick Play bots adapt to your K/D: do well and the next match gets tougher bots, one step at a time; struggle and they ease off again.
  • Camos now work like Modern Warfare 2019: every kill with a weapon counts toward all of its camos at once, and a new camo asks for 3 kills without dying. Gold still has its own final task once the other camos are done. Diamond is now much quicker: after Gold, get 15 kills with that weapon in one match, 15 times (fewer for pistols, snipers and the knife). Gold on your other weapons is not needed. Camos you already have are kept.
  • The AK-47 iron sights are tilted very slightly when aiming, so the front sight post is easier to see. Your point of aim is unchanged.
  • Bots type in chat much less often, and only sometimes say gg at the end of a match.
  • Bot chat messages no longer show "BOT" in front of the name.
  • Players whose aim is obviously a cheat are now removed during the match, not only after it. The bar is set far above what any skilled player does.
  • The privacy policy now explains the anti-cheat checks, what a ban stores and how long it is kept.
  • Quick Play FFA and Team Deathmatch now last 7 minutes instead of 5, so more matches end on the kill target. Kill targets are unchanged.
  • Cyber Attack: the scoreboard no longer shows enemies who are still standing as down when you join a match in progress.
  • Quick Play FFA and Team Deathmatch now fill up to 12 players with bots instead of 10. New custom Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack rooms start as 6v6; the host can still change the player count.
  • Offline Gunfight on Cargo: an enemy no longer spawns right next to you at the start of a round.
  • The tips in your first matches move on faster: each stays only as long as it takes to read.
  • Fixed shots not counting after the game briefly froze while a match was loading: enemies were shown a few seconds in the past, so hits on them were missed.
  • Search & Destroy and Gunfight: when your whole team is down but the round goes on (for example while the enemy defuses), you now spectate the enemy instead of a blank view.
  • A scout or sniper scope on a normal gun no longer sways, so there is no "hold breath" prompt. Sniper and marksman rifles still sway and let you hold your breath, as in Modern Warfare 2019.
  • In Prop Hunt, hunters' games are no longer told where hidden props are, and enemies' exact health is no longer sent (you still see hits land).
  • Ranked now unlocks at level 20, so new and throwaway accounts stay out of competitive matches. Play Casual to level up.
  • The privacy policy now explains exactly how long fair-play data is kept.
  • "Silent aim" no longer works: a shot always goes where you are actually looking.
  • Report cheaters: open the scoreboard or watch your killcam and press Report (R on the killcam). Moderators review reports with the server's own recording; a report alone never bans anyone.
  • The last round of Gunfight, Duel, Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack now says MATCH WON or MATCH LOST, its replay is labelled Final killcam, and a bar counts down to the results, so the pause before the results no longer looks like the game froze.
  • Killcams run longer: round killcams and the end-of-match final killcam keep playing 1 second longer after the kill, the final killcam also starts 1 second earlier, and the killcam you see when you die plays 1 second longer after the kill. Respawning is just as quick as before.
  • Killcams now show grenades, flashbangs and smoke: you see the throw, the grenade flying, the blast or the cloud, and the screen whites out when the player who killed you had just been flashed.
  • Refreshing the page or losing connection no longer leaves a "Reconnecting…" copy of you in your party: come back within a minute and you are straight back in it, leader included. The leader never has to kick you before inviting you again.
  • Slide cancel now works like Modern Warfare 2019: crouch to slide, then crouch again or jump to cancel. Cancelling resets your tactical sprint and lets you slide again a quarter of a second later, and jumping out of a slide now really jumps.
  • The airstrike laser and dot now stay on the floor where you aim, indoors too, instead of drifting up onto roofs or the tops of walls.
  • Weapon switching now works like Modern Warfare 2019: the weapon list highlights your choice the moment you press a number key, scroll or tap swap. Change your mind mid-switch and the old weapon comes straight back, as fast as the switch had got, and the swap sounds cut and follow along instead of piling up when you scroll back and forth.

Tougher on cheats

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Wallhacks see much less: your game is only told about enemies you could actually see or hear (footsteps, gunfire nearby), so players hidden behind walls are no longer sent to your screen. Enemies still appear before they come around a corner, never late.
  • Removed a debug shortcut that cheat scripts were using in the live game.
  • The server now watches for aim that is not human, such as instant snaps to the head. Only very obvious cheating is suspended automatically; everything else goes to the team for review.
  • Chat blocks cheat adverts, including disguised web addresses, and briefly pauses chat for players who spam the same message or flood it. Playing is never affected.

Fairer leaderboards

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Leaderboards no longer count kills on yourself playing in a second tab or window, so the boards show real fights. Your matches, XP and challenges work exactly as before.
  • Moderators can now ban cheaters and chat spammers from online matches, for a set time or for good, and obvious aimbots are suspended automatically.

Bots that play fair

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Fixed keys getting stuck (for example walking on by itself) and shooting being blocked after switching windows or menus, especially on Mac.
  • The snowy mountain tops on Polaris no longer flicker when you look around.
  • The first moments of a new match run more smoothly.
  • Global chat is always shown on the home screen again.
  • Bots only shoot at you when they can actually see you, never through a wall at a spot they remember.
  • Bots hear roughly where you are, not exactly, and stop following a sound through walls after a moment, like a player would.
  • Bots sometimes throw a grenade on a hunch, just like players: toward a sound they heard, into a doorway or objective early in a round, or over cover at the start of a round. Never at your exact hidden position, never onto a teammate or someone who just spawned. Rare on Easy, more purposeful on Hard and Sweats. Same in offline play.

Smoother play on slow computers and phones

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • New Very low graphics setting for computers and Chromebooks that still stutter on Performance: a softer picture with less detail filtering. Maps, players and what you can see of each other stay exactly the same.
  • On Auto, if your game keeps running slowly for about ten seconds of play, it lowers the graphics one step straight away and tells you; the rest of the change lands at the next loading screen, so the match never freezes. It remembers this on that device. A setting you pick yourself is never changed.
  • Phones and tablets now start on Performance, and small phones and slow Chromebooks start on Very low, so the game loads and plays more smoothly from the first match.

Measuring lag to plan new servers

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Phones use about a fifth less memory again in every mode (offline, online and Zombies), and memory no longer grows from one match to the next. If the game ever closes during a match, it can now tell us anonymously the next time you open it, unless you have switched diagnostic reports off.
  • The anonymous performance report sent after a match now includes your ping to our game server and the continent you play from (worked out from your time zone, never your location), so we can see whether players in places like North America need a server closer to them. You can still switch these reports off in Settings → Video.
  • The anonymous performance report sent after a match now includes your ping to our game server and the broad area you play from, such as eastern North America or western Europe (worked out from your time zone, never your location), so we can see whether players in places like North America need a server closer to them. You can still switch these reports off in Settings → Video.
  • The same reports now help us see why matches end early: how a match went for you when you left, which menus you opened, and how often the game hit an error. Waiting times no longer count time the game spent in a background tab. The privacy policy lists exactly what is sent.

Clearer footstep distance and direction

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Nearby footsteps stay useful, while distant footsteps fade away. Your own hard-surface steps are slightly quieter; grass and loose-ground self levels keep their existing balance.
  • Walls and closed doors muffle footsteps. Floors and ceilings leave a duller thump; low cover softens them less. Opening a door lets the clearer sound through, and open windows, balconies and stairwells keep their direction.

Cleaner, better-flowing maps

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • No more walking or shooting through things that look solid: walls, rocks, crane beams, bushes, stalls and signs now block you where they should.
  • Stairs no longer start or end right against a wall, and Old Town has fewer walls, fewer dead ends and clearer streets.
  • Many maps flow better, with clearer lanes, safer spawn corners and more ways into the bomb sites. Railworks takes a break from the public rotation; you can still pick it in private matches.

Fall damage, Modern Warfare style

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • A new sound safety net: if any sound ever gets stuck or far too loud, the game turns it down at once. The attack helicopter also flies and sounds smoother.
  • If your internet connection is slow, the game now tells you so, with your ping, so you know it is the connection and not the game.
  • Reloading while aiming now returns the camera to normal zoom, and it zooms back in by itself when the reload is done if you are still aiming.
  • The M870 shotgun's shell-by-shell loading has its previous sound back, and the M4 reload is a little louder.
  • Aiming an airstrike now shows a thin laser and a small dot where it will land, instead of a large marker on the ground.
  • The game is much lighter on phones: about 40% less graphics memory in a match, to stop iPhones closing the page. Computers look and play exactly the same.
  • Jumps, stairs, ladders, climbs and ordinary drops never hurt. Falls from above about 6.5 metres do, more the higher you fall, and a fall of about 13 metres or more is fatal, as in Modern Warfare (2019).
  • Falling to your death gives nobody a kill or a streak. In Cyber Attack it downs you, in Duel it costs you the round, and in Zombies it downs you through armour.

Cleaner menus and match screens

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • The screen before a match is much less cramped: one compact header, a tidy player list and far more room for your classes. On phones the player list sits behind a Players button.
  • The Esc menu has clear icon buttons for Settings, Voice (with its on/off state), Fullscreen and Feedback, and a clearly marked Leave match.
  • Buttons look the same everywhere: one amber for the main action, the same font, corners and focus outline, and bigger tap targets in chat, leaderboards and clans. All seven menu tabs now fit on 1280 and 1366 pixel wide screens.
  • Every screen was checked on desktop, tablet and phone sizes: text that was cut off, overlapping or hidden behind other controls now fits, including the account form buttons, Settings on a sideways phone, match results and the Prop Hunt and Football HUD.

New snow map: Polaris

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Polaris is an arctic relay station with three lanes: a long snowfield, a middle courtyard above an underground pump tunnel with three entrances, and two hangars.
  • The red Relay half and the teal Depot half show which side of the map you are on. Falling snow is switched off on the Performance graphics setting.
  • Built for Search & Destroy, Cyber Attack and Team Deathmatch. Domination, Hardpoint, Capture the Flag, Free-for-all and Zombies are supported too.

Send feedback from the game

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Report a bug or share an idea in a few seconds from the home screen, the pause menu or Settings. The dialog shows exactly which game details are attached, so we can fix reported bugs fast.
  • After your first match you can rate it with one tap, right on the results screen, without delaying your next match. The results header also no longer prints your placement over your K/D on narrower screens.

Bots that play like people

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Bots now have a field of view and can hear: sneak up crouched and they will not notice you, but sprinting or firing nearby turns their heads. Shoot one in the back and it turns to find you.
  • They take cover, peek and fall back to heal or reload, fight every gun in its own way, and each one has its own style: some rush, some hold angles, and the easier ones make more mistakes.
  • Bots run from grenades, team up in Team Deathmatch and switch to their pistol when their gun runs dry. Offline matches gain a Mixed difficulty, and online bots sometimes say “gg”.

Voice chat follow-up

Regular voice is enabled. Brief post-elimination voice reactions remain disabled while testing continues.

  • Further microphone, phone and mixed-audio checks are ongoing. Server checks alone do not confirm how a call sounds on every device.

Clearer round-mode HUD

Now live.

Search & Destroy, Cyber Attack and Gunfight now put round scores at the bottom-left on larger desktop screens, with alive-player dots and the timer at the top. Gunfight has two dots per team and keeps team health and overtime guidance visible. Touch and smaller windows keep their compact combined display.

A darker Shooters lobby

The Shooters lobby now uses the dusk courtyard, with a quieter backdrop for your operator. Your controls, loadouts and progress are unchanged.

Clearer feedback, fairer queues & combat polish

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Collection and Challenges have clearer previews, ownership, progress and claim actions. Your credit balance stays visible in the header.
  • Find Match responds immediately while searching. Voice reminders disappear after a short hint, and the scoreboard shows your voice status.
  • Account settings have their own tab. Audio settings let you hide Radio subtitles without muting voices or sounds.
  • Public FFA, Quickscope, Duel, Solo Zombies and 1v1 Football require solo entry. Incompatible party choices are disabled; custom matches keep their own capacity rules.
  • Corrected mode reward payouts and contribution ownership. Custom matches remain separate from public progression.
  • Fixed stalled bot patrols, opened the MK2 sight picture and cleared front sights from supported optic views. The minimap shows a closer tactical view.
  • Selected suppressed weapons have fuller first-person sound without increasing what enemies hear.
  • Reduced phone match-entry memory peaks, added category lobby backgrounds and operator grounding, and gave new guests gaming-style names.

Now live.

  • The Home tour has optional spoken guidance matching the text on screen, with a speaker toggle beside Skip. Continue silently at any time.
  • The Rewards step explains buying crates with credits earned by playing.
  • Operator selection keeps Equip directly under the preview, with compact rotate and voice controls in its corner and a smaller roster beside it.
  • Equipping an operator can play a short signature line. Equip voices can be switched off, and rapid changes do not queue up speech.

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Highscores, Rewards and Settings share a cleaner layout. Ranked keeps its match controls together without repeating party chat.
  • Loadouts has a smaller weapon-details header and a clear Back action. Presets and locked class slots expand when you need them.
  • Subtle arrows show when mobile navigation can scroll. Tab labels fade away beneath the arrows.
  • Click a squad member’s name above their operator for party actions. Each member shows their selected operator, with a smaller invitation beside the squad.
  • Scoreboard voice controls sit in a compact footer, with smaller per-player mute buttons and no duplicate Back button. The in-game voice indicator stays quiet until someone speaks.
  • Voice settings show your talk key with a Change action, plus clearer microphone permission help. New controls use V for push-to-talk and X for disguise; custom bindings stay protected from conflicts.
  • Party transitions and voice preferences carry through the next match and return to the lobby, with clearer connection status.
  • First-person suppressed shots and weapon-handling sounds have more presence. Slide sounds keep their quieter surface detail.

Combat, squads & map refinements

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • Optional voice chat is available: choose Talk & listen or Listen only in Voice settings. Touch players can hold the talk button. A local microphone test helps check input without sending or recording audio.
  • Solo players now see Your lobby, without a party count or Party chat. Sharing an invite keeps you in the solo view until a friend joins.
  • Fixed overlapping menu tabs after a sign-in expires. The sign-in notice now has its own strip below the header, with clear controls on desktop and mobile.
  • A full-screen squad lobby, clearer invitations and leader-only party matchmaking. Home chat is back, with Tab cycling available channels while chatting.
  • Smaller, mode-specific combat panels keep objective information clear on narrow screens. Gunfight overtime has a clearer flag prompt, and first-match hints stay clear of touch controls.
  • Optional Home tours and replayable, mode-specific control guides help new players find their way without repeating every instruction.
  • Cyber Attack gets better-balanced starting routes on Suburb, Ridgeline, Sunward and Holloway, plus corrected staging on Greyhaven and Railworks. All 17 Cyber maps now have checks against the actual EMP and team-start positions.
  • Save eight recovery codes when you create an account. Reset a forgotten password without losing your career, or replace your codes from Settings.
  • Home stays cleaner after all career unlocks: the completed next-unlock card disappears. On tablets, the squad preview stays clear of the leaderboard buttons below it.
  • Living players and bots now have body collision with gentle pushing. Nudges respect walls and supporting ground; dead players do not block movement.
  • Small props react to shots across 16 shooter maps: pottery breaks into shards and metal tins tip over, with matching sounds. Railworks, Holloway, Dockworks, Gun House and selected Close Quarters office monitors also crack and go dark when shot. Everyone sees the same damage, including late joiners; remains stay until the next round. Cargo and 2v2 arenas are unchanged.
  • Two chickens bring a little life to Old Town’s courtyard, with quiet occasional clucks. They can be shot and return next round.
  • Subtle surf, ventilation and wind ambience matched to each map’s setting, plus nearby crackling for scenery fires. Ambient sounds are now easier to hear between firefights and still soften indoors.
  • More consistent map surfaces and clearer timber detail, plus refreshed preview images for all 23 maps—including the football stadiums.
  • Competitive map refinements improve routes, crossings and objective pacing across the larger maps. Cargo, Gun House and the 2v2 layouts keep their existing layouts.
  • Old Town’s alley posters now sit on the wall instead of floating across a sightline; Shipyard’s interior surfaces are easier to read.
  • More commander-line variety and refreshed radio calls with matched playback levels, fuller gunshot tails and stronger first-person suppressed-SMG feedback. RD-9 uses SMG recordings, with review bursts matching its actual firing rate.
  • Recorded slide, ladder, sprint, pickup and weapon-handling effects add quieter movement detail. Knife swings and nearby casing contacts use recorded sounds too.
  • Two-stage weapon switching follows handling weight, with quicker light weapons and a speed advantage from Amped. Handling sounds follow the holster and draw actions.
  • Aligned sniper shots can pass through an arm into the torso and through multiple players. L115 and Kar98 collateral damage follows their range and body-hit rules; other firearms lose damage through players.
  • Bots stop tracking shots through blocked sightlines and smoke. Grenade throws turn toward their target first, patrol destinations are refreshed when needed, and bomb escapes leave room for the squad.
  • Corrected Prop Hunt starts, prop placements and exits that overlapped rebuilt scenery. Tactical sprint keeps the support hand below the frame at wider fields of view.
  • Finishing moves have more distinct choreography and smoother reactions. Crate reward buttons now separate opening the next crate from equipping, viewing and continuing.
  • FAMAS sights and optic mounts sit on the carry handle. Equipping an M870 optic removes the bead sight and its aiming tilt, keeping the red-dot view clear.
  • Starter custom classes and the Assault preset no longer require the later Amped unlock. Old Town’s Zombies shotgun wall-buy is restored on the revised wall.
  • Achievement and crate effects have a richer mix. Rejected round-start and enemy-revive cues stay disabled.
  • After claiming your first daily reward, Rewards shows your crate and balance straight away.
  • The first-match guide points out that sensitivity, field of view and many other options can be tuned in Settings.
  • Rejected climbing and landing grunts are disabled; movement keeps its quieter equipment and surface sounds.
  • Killcams reproduce footsteps, stim use and bolt/pump closing sounds as well as gunfire.
  • Opening a crate now fills the whole screen with a bigger crate, and the Rewards tabs keep a solid bar while you scroll. New guest names carry a short number only sometimes.
  • Casual Team Deathmatch is now 5 minutes (first to 50), and Quick Play starts on TDM and FFA. New players go straight into their first match without popups or the class screen. New clean M4 iron sights: a round rear ring and a slim front post.

Quieter movement sounds

Now live.

  • Softer footsteps and a calmer running stride.
  • No more breathing sounds while aiming a sniper; steady aim works as before.
  • The effort grunt after a big fall is a bit quieter.

Arsenal, operators & richer action

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • New weapon models across the arsenal, including M249, AMAX, SCAR-L, MK2, Kar98k, FAMAS, L115A3, MPX, RD-9, M870, Glock, Magnum and USP .45. Your weapon XP, attachments, skins and camo progress carry over.
  • More detailed hands and sleeves, fitted grips, revised reloads and clearer aiming views. Weapon cards, killfeed art and camo coverage match the updated guns.
  • Reworked gunfire and suppressor sounds, surface footsteps, equipment effects and nearby environmental audio. Heavy landing effort sounds stay separate from ordinary jumps and ladder climbing.
  • Weightier elimination feedback and a distinct headshot-kill sound make confirmed kills easier to recognize.
  • Clearer M4 and RD-9 iron sights, revised Kar98k hand placement, and better optic and suppressor fitting. Attachment previews and replay audio follow the equipped configuration.
  • Sniper focus shows a hold-breath hint that follows your key binding.
  • Spectre and Reaper replace the blue/red team names. Operators wear their own outfits; name tags identify teams.
  • Choose realistic human operators unlocked through levels, credits or crates. Wildcard is Legendary at 1% per crate; Deadpan is Legendary at 0.1%. Owned operators stay yours.
  • Equipment models, operator movement and weapon carry poses have been updated. First-person sleeves follow your operator's look.
  • Crates build suspense, reveal rarity first and celebrate rarer rewards with stronger effects. Equip eligible rewards directly, choose a weapon for shared skins, or open the next crate. Skip and reduced-motion options remain available.
  • Trial loadouts now keep their advertised attachments when you spawn, including sniper scopes on the Kar98k and M249.
  • Clearer Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack round transitions, switching-side messages and scoreboards.
  • Compact Collection and Achievements screens, claim-all for ready achievements, and active double-XP timers beside Quick Play and your account progress.
  • Models, equipment and HUD art preload while you browse Home. Large downloads report progress more reliably on slower connections, and sounds warm up after your first menu interaction. Detailed hands also do less repeated animation work.
  • Phones and memory-limited devices use smaller model textures and prepare the equipped kit first. Model decoding is staggered on desktop too, reducing memory peaks while loading.
  • Confirmed daily, challenge and XP-token claims have clearer feedback. Unclaimed rewards stay saved; the separate crate opening keeps its own animation and sound sequence.
  • Guides, What’s New, Partners and legal pages open in the same tab with a persistent Back to xFPS action. The guide now explains Prop Hunt’s Classic and Hardcore rules and controls.
  • Railworks' furnace doorway and Saffron's cafe ladder opening are clear. Online weapon-switch, FPS and ping indicators have also been tidied up.

Rewards & menu refresh

Now live. Your account, progress and owned rewards carry over.

  • A daily reward track that never resets when you miss a day, with a bigger bundle every seventh claim.
  • A daily welcome shows all seven rewards and your total claims. New players get a short introduction and an optional controls guide.
  • Save account and weapon 2× XP tokens, then activate them when you want. Extra tokens add time.
  • Finish all daily challenges for a varied credit, XP-token or crate bonus. Finish all weeklies for a crate, 250 credits and a one-hour XP token. Your exact bonus is shown upfront; earned rewards stay saved across resets.
  • Crates now mark milestones: levels 5, 10, 15… and every 8,000 score points against players. Match credits and the 1,000-credit crate price stay unchanged.
  • Bigger guaranteed bundles for Gold and Diamond mastery. Check Achievements for each reward.
  • A compact Rewards inventory puts crates, XP tokens and daily rewards one tap apart, with opening and buying controls near the top.
  • Cleaner Home, Career, Loadouts, party and custom-match screens across desktop and mobile. Search achievements, see your next unlock and customize your playlist without repeated category cards.
  • Gold, silver and bronze highlights for the leading three scores, plus larger weapon previews and a lighter weapon-switch HUD.
  • Bot movement and target-selection improvements, objective-defend scoring and equipment usage statistics.
  • Death, round and final killcams share a clearer layout: recorded weapon and attachments, killer name and perks.
  • A prominent gold Space-to-respawn action on PC and a large tap button on phones. Fullscreen replays retain the existing mouse lock; Escape remains available.

Progress that stays with you

  • Camo kills now save when you leave a Quick Play or Ranked match early, including a match where you were the last human player.
  • Leaving and rejoining the same match does not duplicate your progress. Win, rating and completion rewards still require their normal conditions.
